You are invited…We are all Daughters

It’s a big no-no in the blogging world.  Since last fall, I have only made 2 posts to my blog. However, I haven’t been blogging but I have been writing. Between waddling through my 3rd trimester of pregnancy and caring for our fourth addition since November, I have written my first ever full length bible study.

It’s called, Daughters: Your Identity Rescued, Your Value Restored

It grew out of questions I still had about who I was to God? Do I have value? What does he see when he looks at me? Does he really love me because I really struggle to feel it? Where am I secure? What is my worth? Do I have dignity?

This produced an unsettling in my sprit that though I had walked with Christ over 20 years, I still didn’t fully understand my identity in him. Therefore, I struggled to live life and see myself through his truth.

So 3 years ago the Daughters was birthed and today it is designed to by a study experience to rescue our identity in Christ and restore our value as daughter of the King. There will be live teaching and devotional homework to let God’s truth renew our minds, restore our hearts, and give us some ways to rehearse what we are learning.

If you’re like me, the most impenetrable 12 inches are from our heads to our hearts so our study will be laced with experiential elements to help God’s truth soak into our souls.

On a walk one day, my friend once rescued an old trunk from the ditch. She brought it home, fixed it, painted it, accessorized it with shelves and decor items. Then she placed it in her front hall, a beautiful display of her restoration.

Many of us are like this trunk. Christ has rescued from the ditch but we are still sitting on the side of the road, broken and tattered. It’s time to let God restore our whole-selves in him piece-by-piece and truth-by-truth.

Let’s bring God our insecurities and let him rebuild our identity! It’s time to take back what was stolen and take hold of who we are as daughters of the King!

Beginning April 14th, join us Tuesday mornings or evenings for this life changing 6 week restoration.

We would love for you to join us even though it has started. To join us email lakezurichwomen@chapel.org
