Mistakes Aren’t Made by The Maker

Mistakes Aren’t Made by The Maker

Have you ever created something from nothing? Do you craft or cook? Have you manipulated or built something with your hands?

Before my womb exploded with children, I loved to cook. I was no Iron chef but when I plated my culinary creation, I liked to dazzle the eye. The entree was delicately placed on the plate. The side dishes complimented to make the mouth water. And a little garnish was added to give it that something extra. The work of my hands displayed care and connection to my culinary creation.

“Your hands made me and formed me…” (Ps. 119:73a NIV).Continue reading

Have You Taken Back What Was Stolen?

Have You Taken Back What Was Stolen?

Long, long ago there was a theft of drastic proportions. Something of great worth was stolen. One day Eve, the first created daughter of God, was strolling through the garden without any feelings of being defective, unacceptable, or fundamentally damaged as a woman. She had no shame. You are invited…We are all Daughters

It’s a big no-no in the blogging world.  Since last fall, I have only made 2 posts to my blog. However, I haven’t been blogging but I have been writing. Question our dependence. He wants to tip the pendeleum his direction. He wants us to lean toward defeat and destruction. He desires we give up on ourselves and our Savior.

But when we find ourselves in a moments of uncertainty, I invite us to TIP the other way.Continue reading

Searching for Satisfaction

Searching for Satisfaction

It is an honest question. “What do I still lack?” In other words, “what do I need to do; what’s still wrong with me; what will it take?” If the rich young man were alive today, the lyrics to U2’s But I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For might resonate with him.Continue reading
