The Last Candle: You are Loved

Like the Grinch who stole Christmas, thanks to COVID, many of us are not waking up to the energy that often fills our home this Christmas day. 

But as we battle the darkness and discouragement that may be knocking at our doors, let us remember this. 

We are loved.

You are loved. 

The Light of the World left heaven. Why? 

Because of love. 

“See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children and that is what we are”  (1 John 3:1).

A simple and short message to remind myself, to remind you, and to remind us that we are loved and we are his!

No matter what darkness might try to overshadow or what discouragement might try to scream. We are loved by a Father who sent his Son to live with us, be a light unto us, and lay down his life for us.

Thank you for taking this journey with me. My family and I are praying for you, grateful for you, and care about you. 

But more importantly, God loves you. May you see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).
